The Gist:

We're looking for a Product Manager (Data) for our Data Engineering teams. The Product Manager will work with multiple teams on business requirements to provide customer-focused solutions and products. The candidate must be a leader, rather than being a manager, who can be a go-to person for the teams he’s collaborating with.


  • Own the data pipeline and platform segments of FullContact’s business.
  • You will work with the product leadership in planning the roadmap of the specific products of the company and executing it. You will assist in defining the overall product vision, scope, requirements, and execution.
  • Lead the product execution of Data Operations - the movement and management of data within the FullContact systems. 
  • You will liaison among multiple teams related to data and the product team to understand, envisage and execute the customer and business requirements.
  • You will define requirements across product, analytics, engineering, and native apps to craft a suite of data tools and projects such as data processing engines, data curation, and data visualization.
  • Define, communicate, and analyze success metrics for the data teams and engines.


  • 5-10 years’ experience in a Product Management role, that involves the integration of multiple teams to deliver the product.
  • A minimum of 3 years of (recent) experience in the enterprise product domain with exposure to big data systems
  • Exposure to data delivery systems - Real-Time APIs at scale 
  • Hands-on product envisaging, coordinating, and development experience, preferably in a Data-based product.
  • Understanding of Big Data environments and technologies. Knowledge of SaaS business models and enabling technologies such as the AWS ecosystem.
  • Experience leading an Agile product or engineering team.
  • Client-facing product ownership experience is a plus, though not mandatory.
  • Software Engineering experience at the start of the career is a plus, though not mandatory.

  • Ability to see the big picture and how individual projects work together to fulfil business objectives
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality
  • Ability to effectively respond to time-tight business requests and timelines
  • Ability to absorb and apply constructive criticism from peers and upper management
  • Strong analytical abilities, problem-solving skills and decision-making capabilities
  • Strong organizational and management skills, including the ability to manage and prioritize multiple competing initiatives
